Focus areas
Our focus areas
MedCap aims to meet the sustainability-related requirements and expectations placed on us by our stakeholders. In preparation for CSRD, a double materiality assessment has been conducted. The purpose has been to identify the sustainability topics that are most significant both from an impact perspective and from a financial perspective.
The materiality assessment resulted in three focus areas: Environmental, Social, and Governance.
Environmental responsibility
The objective is to manage identified environmental and climate-related risks and opportunities in a structured manner. By monitoring our climate impact and developing relevant ways of working, we strive to reduce negative effects and strengthen the organization’s contribution to a sustainable transition.
Social responsibility
Ensuring compliance with existing requirements while anticipating future demands is a fundamental part of our strategy for sustainable product responsibility. The objective is to ensure that the products and services provided are accessible to users, safe to use, and supported by clear and reliable information.
A prerequisite for developing, producing, and delivering high-quality products and services to customers and end users is having the right employees. The goal is to foster engagement, innovation, and development through a workforce that is competent, healthy, and safe, with increased diversity and equal opportunities.
Governance
Good business ethics, respect and integrity are of paramount importance. The aim is to ensure good business culture and values, compliance with laws and regulations and patient safety.
We are convinced that through good business ethics and good corporate governance we can contribute to sustainable development.
